Acknowledgments - Superman's Not Coming: Our National Water Emergency and What We the People Can Do About It

ACKNOWLEDGMENTS

I’m so grateful to everyone in my life who has supported my work, especially:

Bob Bowcock, for your friendship and expertise, and for driving around so many towns with me all these years.

Suzanne Boothby, for writing this book with me, translating countless conversations to the page and bringing these stories to life, along with putting in immense hours of research and dedication to this project.

Jimmy Soni and Rob Goodman, for your additional help with research and writing on climate change.

Victoria Wilson, for championing this book from the moment we met and for your careful edits and attention throughout the process.

Laura Yorke, for your vision, support, and cheerleading from start to finish.

Dave Kass, for your years of friendship and for always connecting me with the right people.

To all the water warriors and communities I’ve worked with for your strength and dedication to the cause. Thank you for sharing your stories in this book. I applaud all communities working hard to improve their water, including those whose stories didn’t make it into this book. You are creating the change we all want to see. Thank you for inviting me to your towns, into your homes, and for the incredibly long hours you have spent spreading awareness about these important issues.
