Epilogue (Part 1) - The Cell Next Door
By Dylan Tallman
Proverbs 25:10
Lest he who hears it expose your shame, and your reputation be ruined.
Chris and I were outside at recreation when I was called inside. I walked back to unit 11. When I arrived at the unit a gang of staff members awaited me. They were gloved up to put cuffs on me. “What did I do?” I asked the lieutenant. “I’ll talk to you down at unit 18,” he replied. Shit, I was going back to the hole. Again, I let them cuff me behind my back and escort me down the long ass hallway to go back to my home away from home, the hole. After a couple of days, the segregation supervisor served me my ticket. I had a note to my clinician, unauthorized transfer of property. Chris bought me clothes. He also bought me hygiene items. He confessed to it. See conduct report for next page.
