Author's Note - Same Time Next New Year's

Thank you so much for picking up this little book (or adding it to your e-reader!) and for your incredible support. This story is one that almost didn’t happen, but I’m so glad that it did. 

I wrote this novella in about two days, something I didn’t plan at all. After being deeply immersed in writing a different book—a story that I’ve been working on for two years that turned into so much more than I initially imagined—I was in need of a little breather.

I was inspired by my dear friend, Allie Samberts, who is an incredible author. She recently surprised us all with a Halloween novella (which you must go read!), and she also has a new holiday novella (yes, go read that too!). Her creativity and energy sparked something in me, and I decided to open my laptop and see where it took me. 

This novella is a light, fun, and warm read. Jo and Leo’s story is filled with joy, love, unexpected setbacks, and a lot of hope. My wish is that as you read it, you’ll find pieces of those same feelings.
