Afterword - Pack of Mine

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I lived by this quote for quite a few years, applying it to a version of myself strictly physically. I spent the last half of my life believing that I was only a reflection of what I looked like in the mirror, but I was so very wrong.

Writing Pack of Mine showed me that there is so much depth to my darkness, and I’m far more capable than I thought I was.

If you have an idea, if you have a spark of creativity and passion to back it up – fucking go for it. Don’t let the facade of self-doubt hold you back, ever. You are limited to what you believe you’re limited to. And when there’s no one left to reassure you – what will you be left with?

Choose to keep going, choose to push forward, and most importantly, choose to be kind – even to yourself.
