The Man of Wind and Moss

The Blair Witch Project meets The Cabin in the Woods by way of Grady Hendrix in this gruesome, mythology-inspired storm of witchcraft, demon curses, and millennial angst. Marco Wonder is about to turn thirty, and he hates it. Without job prospects, without a girlfriend, without a sustainable future, he desires something to anchor him. Instead, Marco decides to risk it all and confess his love for his best friend Pansy during a last-hurrah weekend getaway in the deep woods with their college friend group. Except Pansy is pregnant and involved with another friend, Dean. When an ancient evil awakens in the secluded forest—a legendary entity known as the Man of Wind and Moss—the six friends find themselves ensnared in a nightmare of folk horror and dark witchcraft. To survive, they will have to make unfathomable supernatural deals, and not all of them will walk out of the woods alive. A chilling, atmospheric folk horror novel from screenwriter and author Alex Gonzalez.
